Might be buying this turbo teg, but noticed it has a 3" downpipe. I've read before that you can't have air conditioning if anything larger than a 2.5" downpipe is used? Why exactly is this; what part gets in the way of the downpipe? I definitely will need my a/c in the summer.
Thanks in advance

hmmm. i just spoke with the guy and he said he didn't have to remove any a/c components when installing the kit, and says nothing was in the way of the downpipe. he installed new motor mounts, would this make any difference? it just seems to good a deal to pass up, plus i'd save a lot of $ by having a lot of **** already installed on the car. he showed me a sheet of a compression test he recently did, and all the cylinders are about the same (128-132). he is currently installing a head gasket which will also lower the compression, and at the same time is having the head checked out for any warping, etc. he seems pretty legit, but i'm trying not to be too compulsive about this, and pay in the long run
