why am i maxing out injectors @ 12 psi
If this is posted in the wrong place sorry but will someone move for me i dont know how to move them
I have a semi built ls-v it has gsr crank, eagle rods,9.8:1 wisecos, stock bore with block guard, head is stock with all ferrea valve train and gsr cams with skunk 2 intake. In all the setup is nothing special but with 750cc injectors and a 6162s precision turbo fuel is maxed out @ 12psi, although it makes 340hp and 255tq to the wheels is not bad since its my daily driver but this is not what i was looking for i wanted more. I know bigger injectors will do the job i just wanted to know if the is another way.
(stock fuel lines with walbo 255 in tank and aftermarket fuel rail) any input would be helpful and yes my tuner is very good at what he does before any one goes bashing the tune

something is up. 750s can safely make 450 crank hp and as stated above 450whp if ran on higher pressure and pushed to the limit.
i'm starting to think this calculator should be a sticky in here

Yeah somthing is up, i ran rc750's in the past made 425whp and had penty of injector left for another 50-60whp. That was on a static fuel pressure of 50psi.
What base pressure are you starting at? What fuel pump are you running? Some how your runnning out of fuel due probably to starvation IE: cloged filter, weak or to smal pump

We had a similar problem on a car , turned out to be a dirty fuel filter. can you monitor the fuel pressure when the car is on boost?

Re: why am i maxing out injectors @ 12 psi
im ordering the kit that goes from the firewall to the rail its -6an fittings and line with inline filter (40 microns) and just for fun im gettin either 1000 or 1200injectors (found a better deal on the 1200 or would just go with the 1000) so theres no way ill run out of fuel, the motor will go before i run out of fuel i want no excuses to not make the power that i wanted originally on stock sleeves, I would like for it to hold but im to the point now that I could care less i want to see it go or blow hopfully go for a while but atleast 6 mo till the dragstrip closes for the winter
340whp 255wtq is not to bad but i want 450whp and 300wtq and a low 11 sec pas in the 1/4(what psi would this take any educated quesses)

Re: why am i maxing out injectors @ 12 psi
should have 100 before the pump and 10 after the pump IMO but others have different opinions, thats what i used to run on my hatch with a aeromotive a1000. in stock line configuration i just rock a stock filter call it a day lol

I see this type of thing all the time.
First thing you should do it double check your fuel pump installation.
Make sure that the line from the pump to the stock fitting is good and intact. You would not believe how many times I have had to fix this problem while cars are on the dyno. Either the clamp is half *** put on there and causing it to leak OR the owner decides to use vacuum line in the fuel tank, which will cause it to blow a hole right through it.
Then check your filter sock and make sure that is still in decent shape, have also seen a few cars have rusted tanks from sitting that clog the fuel pump sock.
Then comes the most obvious... make sure you have gas in the car.
