Iam running a lsvtec with a eBay kit at 8psi and I was maxing out 550cc injectors. So I ended up buying 1000cc injectors but when I dynoed my car I made 266whp @ 8psi

So I've heard dsm 440's should go up to around 300whp but I was maxing out 550's at 266whp. I tuned my car with uberdata and my aem and the dyno wideband read the same afr @ 11.5 in boost and good afr's in the all motor parts of the map so I can't figure out why I'm maxing out injectors so early. Oh yeah my fuel pressure was at 38psi but I was playing around with it in the map but it didn't make that much difference

What fuel pump? Do you have a way to monitor the fuel pressure as you dyno? Make sure it's not falling off.

how do you know you were maxing out the injectors? was the car going lean or was the software just displaying 100% duty cycle

38psi sounds low even for a stock fuel pump, are you using a 255pump, or oem, cause that could very well be your problem, if its a 255 pump and you were at 38psi then your pump is probly airating

don't ask how i know... cheap thing to replace = fuel filter. I decided to upgrade from 750cc to 1000cc injectors on dyno running into this problem thinking I was maxing out the injectors, and the 1000's didn't help... changed fuel filter and holy mother of god everything was so rich from us trying to add more fuel! I originally didn't think it would be the filter since it wasn't very old but live and learn!

you dont see it all to often, but it is a problem sometimes, restricted fuel filter is usually the first thing people assume it is, and its normally not, in your case you got lucky
