Who's running a Precision 1025 IC (31.5x8x3.5") on a 99-00 Civic?
I am looking to get this FMIC, but am wondering what issues people have had with fitment. Can it be mounted behind the bumper support? Also, if you have pictures of it installed, I am definitely interested. Any pictures of the smaller (26.5x6.4x3.5) on a 99-00 front end would be good as well. Thanks all,
Mark

8" is too tall. get a 6"...i doubt you will be pushing enough power to warrant an 8" anyway.

Jason, I'm getting the same intercooler, do you have any pics during install showing what you did to the bumper support?

we got the largest precision IC to fit behind a stock 98 civic bumper, we had to cut the damn grill and **** though.

Yeah, that doesn't look like the Precision...? It does, however, look damn good!
I am trying to get away with not cutting the bumper support. I don't mind choppin' up my plastic bumper cover, but if I ran the 8" behind the BS, technically there is enough room (I did some tape measuring last night). Of course measuring without the IC is difficult, but that is the reason for this post. Anyone have thoughts? Keep 'em comin'!!

Good eye man. That is the PWR. 30x8x3 total dimensions. Core is 24 wide. I ran the back door piping on both side. Moved my radiator over 2 inches towards the driver side. I will post up some pics tonight. I had to cut the bottom section of the BS off. Then my IC sits inside my BS and mounts to it. The front bumper was cut....but only to allow the back side of the bumper to mount flush up against the IC.

Here is how the big one fits... at least on my 00 Si... the bumper fits right over it but the bumper support had to be hacked up.
