Whos running 1\2 sized radiators on Boosted GS-R's
Well im piecing together a kit for my 2000 Integra gs-r. I have not had a chance
to mock anything up yet and i was wondering what the chance is that i will need
to run a civic 1\2 sized radiator? I noticed that some guys have gotten away with
just trimming off some of the fan housing alowing them to retain the fullsize
radiator.
Im using a garrett t3\to4e 57 trim and this Maxrev log manifold, what do you guys think?
If i do need to run the 1\2 sized, would this work for my build?

GSR motor here with a civic radiator and so far no problems. From the looks of the manifold you could probably get away with a full saize radiator. Might want to go with a slim fan or flip it and make it a pusher.

i run a civic dual core (it's out of an automatic civic) on my integra. no problems. if you get a slim fan and make it a pusher, you'll have a lot more room. that's what i did.

Man U FTW
for $450 i would either get InlinePro or a nice tubular log from SPoolin....i have one and it cost me less than half of the one you're looking at.....he had a sale going where you could get the DP, dump, and manifold WITH all the bolts you need for $575.............its worth checking out!

Re: (Kowalski)
Yeah, like i said i only paid $100 for the manifold on ebay.
Kowalski, i would like to run the fullsize radiator.
Im just trying to get an idea of how many gs-r guys had no choice
but to use the 1\2 size.
Maybe i can keep the fullsize and just get a slim fan?
I guess i will find out when i start mocking everything up.

get a half size radiator, they do real well. That way on the other side you can get a better manifold, those AC Comptaible manifolds suck.

If you can run a full size radiator definitely use that over the half core. My car ran much better with the fullsize and the fans barely had to come on unless I was sitting in traffic. I had the fans on the front to make more room as well.
