Re: Who's interested in a Kooks Equal Length manifold (integra-modder)
my guess is this one as it is the most normally sold one
if it is this one this is one nice manifold... if u have it properly braced u will have no problems with it being a tubular manifold

doesnt your car need to be running to tell if its worth the money, ron???
For everyone considering this, please use the search feature to see what others have experienced. You must brace the manifold or it will crack very very quickly. It does work well when it is not cracked and you can make great power with it, however.
Ron, your manifold has cracked numerous times, the wastegate even fell off once.

Hey Geoff, have you ever heard the saying, "if you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say it". Well dont say **** to me unless u have some helpful insight. ok? I know that it has cracked, and its being welded, and even tho the wastegate fell off, dont forget to mention that it fell off on an 11.80 run..ok no need to tell u anything, all i got to say is go your way, and ill go mine, if u want to continue to act 6, then be my guest.. if you are to thickheaded to understand what i meant with this post, than thats also a problem..goodbye

I would rather spend a $100 bucks extra for a manifold that is not going to be falling apart at 100+ miles an hour. I also, wouldn't want to spend $850 on a manifold, then have to worry about the possibility of ever having to (take it back off the car and/or paying to) get it rewelded. The kooks manifold seems like an excellent design....but, design doesn't define durability.

wat would you have to do to keep this manifold from cracking ? how would you have to brace it ?
