Re: (11psiTurboSI)
I use Mobil 1 synthetic 15w-50 (the new forumla for turbo and supercharged applications). Also, on the crankcase im running a dump tube instead of the breather valve in case of too much pressure built up, n i noticed a little bit of oil at the end of the tube under the car. I think thats mainly why im a little lower than when i started, maybe i am burning a little but not enough to be concerned...

Don't burn any oil here. Only oil lost is oil vapors from the oil seperator box and the valve cover, both which I have a clear tube running to the ground so I can see them.

compression is one way to check. but you shouldn't have any oil drops from valve cover breather, thats what happen to my stock block, first oil drops, then smoke and cyl #3 went. 15w50 would be great during summer, 5w40 or 5w50 should offer more protection during startup during winter
i'm running 5w40 shell synthetic for right now.

Re: (vtec.dc2)
yeah, im getting kind of worried, i think im gonna take it for a compression test this week. Its not really a valve cover breather, its just a tube running to under the car in case too much pressure, if it was just a breather then i doubt any oil could escape...
