Who makes a good FPR?
I need a standalone FPR, that will replace my factory unit and allow adjustability of base idle, raise pressure at less vacuum like the stock unit, as well as raise my fuel pressure 1psi per psi of boost. Mallory makes a nice unit that is only $74 in Jegs. Any other suggestions?
thanks,
Jared

the most popular one is made by SX, however it is a little more expensive (about $130)... AEM, and aeromotive make one as well as several other companies... the only one I have had experiance with is the SX

If you need one that raises fuel pressure as boost rises, I suggest getting a VORTECH FMU. All the drag kits use it, and it's really reliable. They're about 145 bucks directly from Vortech, but it's well worth it. You can also get them in different rising rate. They don't offer a 1:1 ratio, but I wouldn't recommend using a 1:1 if that's all you'll be using for more fuel.

No, I'm using a Haltech E6k, so I'll be controlling, everything, so I need a straight 1:1 ratio.

Re: Who makes a good FPR? (B20C5 Turbo)
I've modified my stock unit with a B&M adjustable, will it still be 1:1 under boost?

Jared,
Im using a NOS FPR (the more expensive of the two they have) and its working great...i think it has the specs you need.
Im at 38 idle and at 7psi of boost its only going up to 54psi on the fuel pressure.

If you're using the Haltech, why do you want a boost dependant FMU?
It makes no sense. Leave the fuel pressure static and increase the load settings. That's what an engine management computer is for. Your stock fpr is totaly adequate for this job, unless you really want to adjust the static fuel pressure for some reason.
