Must have been. Earl (rip) told me that with some of bensons first blocks they had two customers send blocks back and there was a specific date range that applied to the bad work. Both were fixed free of charge.

I let them do my first block at 83mm. Noob mistake by myself/buddies and we melted 4 CPs. I won't go in to details on what laskey did for me but Earl proved to me he was by far the most honest person in the industry. Running strong on 84mm ever since.

Like father like son

I don't have a Laskey sleeved block yet, but I hope too within the next few months. So far I haven't paid Mike any money, but he has already taken time from his busy schedule to give me tons of insight and advice about the whole process. He even told me what things I should look for/watch out for if I go with another company. To me not only is that is awesome service, but shows how much Mike cares for the industry and is not just trying to make a buck. That's why I plan to go with Laskey. Need more people/companies like him!

I run one as well...going on over 2 years now, 3 different turbo setups from a 7 psi drag kit, now to a 650hp ls vtec, 26ish psi of boost. still on eagle rods as well! Laskey has awesome service and has answered numerous questions for me along the line. from me

Mike built my block. I have yet to run it but I have no doubts. When I dropped my block off at the shop had a chance to BS with Mike and check out his drag car. Good guy.

I do not doubt your situation, but rest assure that every Benson block has a warranty not to leak or drop a sleeve. Please feel free to contact myself and let Benson check the block out and if there really is this issue, it would be taken care of 100% free of charge!

Dan Benson and I were just chatting about how he is producing the best blocks he has ever done. With the new CNC machine, actually its a few years old now, everything is awesome plus most people love the Benson logo on the front of the block. But enough with that, people know and love the Benson blocks for the quality they are Turn time is about 1 month right now.

Thanks for all the kind words! I try really hard to make everyone happy and I love hearing all the success stories of the engines. I think the return phone calls with happy voices is my favorite part of the job! Everyone now gets a free T shirt with an engine build too

for Laskey Racing.

Got a customer's block back here after being sent out, build was timely, cost effective, and customer service was superb.

Needless to say all of our builds are going to Laskey Racing

Oh yea, and the t-shirts are pretty sick
