Default Who here has the MOST HP (or best ET) with stock ignition?

Who here has generated the most wheel horsepower (or best 1/4 mile ET) with the factory ignition? I am curious to know when it is necessary.

I run 11.4 at 118.8MPH on a totally stock ignition (even stock spark plug wires). Only thing different is spark plugs. I'm guessing HP should be in the mid 300 range right now.

No external coils? Nothing to increase spark energy or anything? I thought that was necessary on a boosted honda.

Think again!

I only use a MSD 6AL on a D16Z6 with spray so I can cut the spark instead of fuel as a revlimiter.

What made you decide to install an MSD after putting down 464hp?

Cleaner response, car feels much better. I was installing 2 step so thought of doing everything at once.
