Who has MSD BTM pn#5462...
This is just the btm only. Before I solder the wires I wanted to double check w/ anyone who has done it before.
Magnetic Connector (green/purple) -- not used
**** (black/grey)
black -- ground
red -- (+) side of coil
white -- original (-) coil wire(white blue) (take off original (-) wire and connect to msd white wire)
orange -- (-) side of coil
and then the spigot gets a vacuum source.
is this correct? tia
btw, what do you guys normally have the **** set at 0.5?

Re: Who has MSD BTM pn#5462... (vudoo666)
I got the BTM w/ my fmax kit and the instructions where hella confusing. However in the FMAX instructions it says to connect both the white AND orange to neg. coil.
Unless someone knows for sure, I'm gunna call MSD and ask.
EDIT: I talked to MSD, your right.
