company: Earl assembled/Benson slv'd
sleeve type: open deck (all Benson does...)
mileage since build: about 4000 miles and about 3 months
block: b18c5 (9:1 cp's and 83mm bore/pauters/stock b18c5 head)

daily driven @ 310 whp on mustang dyno (@15psi on smaller t3/t4)
most as of yet = 331whp on 19psi

block: b18c1 (9:1 JEs and 81mm bore/crower/cometic hg)
stock tb/stock im/stock head/hondata 2b (sfp tuned)
daily driven @ 315 whp (@14psi SC 61 turbo)

after a couple new upgrades:
Im looking for 350 hp daily @14 psi 93 octane/425hp @20ish psi on race gas

Gone through a couple of headgaskets, but cannot pin-point what was the issue. It was more likely from the head, but I switched setup and I am no longer running the block anymore.

company: Rocket Motorsports
Sleeve type: custom dartons with a GE block gaurd
Mileage: 13000 miles
block series: B18C1

engine has been daily driven for the last 5 to 6 months and has seen 40+ trips down the 1320..engine makes 550+ whp on high boost and 307 on 7 psi and pump gas..still runs like a charm but the valve guilds need to be replaced.

only problem I had was when I tried to run nitrous on high boost and had it set to damn rich it lifted the head pulling the HS threads with it..but thats all been fixed and its back to running great!!

motor setup: 84MM, 9.5:1, Ported head, ITR Cams, ITR Trans
turbo set up: InlinePro T4 Mani, PTE 750 HP IC, PT67 .68 A/R P-trim
horsepower rating: 433 WHP, pump gas

Started off at stock bore 9:1 comp with an SC61, blew that up after about 5 thousand miles. Bored it to 84MM with some custom 9.5:1 JE's, put the PT67 combo on there, and I drive it LOTS.

Maybe its not the case of how long sleeves last but more of how long someones setup will last. Im sure all the people that run sleeves run high horsepower and other things cause the sleeves to get ruined. (thrown rod, Melt a piston) What i wonder is you sleeved a block and ran it like a normal car what would happen. (this would be kind of pointless for sleeves.) but then you could tell if issues developed over time.

Yes you are ignorant and that has nothing to do with this post. But since you brought it up - there alot of older American cars there because there has been an embargo on Cuba since the 60's therefor they cannot get any American goods. But that doesn't mean they cant get new cars from Japan or Europe.
