Who carries M&W products?
I am in the search for M&W parts, both coils and CDI ignitions. I've done some searches (on HT.com, Yahoo, google, etc...) and I cannot find any US vendors. Yet I have seen a handful of guys running M&W products.
Mind sharing where to purchase them?
Thanks

We run them, sell them. Just today Tony1 had a car on the dyno that had a MSD digi 6, kept having missfire problems. But the M&W Pro-10 on there and it cleaned it right up!! Made 590whp..

Re: Who carries M&W products? (Arturbo)
Heya Art,
I might be interested in one of those M&W ignitions systems too. Is there a site where I can read up on it a little? I'm trying to find a suitable ignition upgrade for my 1.9L GSR which I'll be running a T3/T4E 60 trim for now, but in the future I wanna run maybe an SC61 or GT35R. I'll be shooting for 400-500 WHP, so what M&W system would you recommend for my power goals?
Thanks

Re: Who carries M&W products? (flip1199)
cool! thanks dood
EDIT: also how hard is it to install one of those CDI systems? like the 2 channel or 4 channel ones? I saw the instructions for them and but I'd have to study it a little to fully understand it. Do you have to install like a sensor or trigger for each coil on the crankshaft or camgear somewhere? Also will these CDI setups still work with CromePRO? I dont think it will.

The single channel system hooks up very similar to a regular msd system. You can use it with a honda computer and you don't have to add any triggers or anything. The Pro-10 is the one you need for a honda ecu. The Pro-12 or Pro-14 are multi channel systems for people with individual coils and aftermarket ecus. The Pro-12 is a 2 channel that you could run wasted spark with and the Pro-14 is a 4 channel. We run the Pro-14 in Allen's car from Honda Heaven with the cbr coils. As far as putting more stress on ignitors, I honestly don't know if it will or not.

Thanks Tony,
I'll look into getting the PRO-10 setup. I was looking at the installation instructions for the PRO-10 and I was wondering about a few things. The connections for "trigger edge" and "trigger" what exactly are those? like where do they hook up to? It looks like I can wire up the Tach signal and 12V ignition switch to my ECU harness, but not sure about the trigger edge and trigger.

Allen's car is running motec, and by honda ecu i mean any form of tuning a honda ecu (hondata, neptune, chrome, etc.) As for the "trigger" it's the same as the white wire on the MSD. That's the trigger input to the ign. box. The "trigger edge" is refering to what type of signal the trigger is. It's always going to be a square wave signal. With a square wave signal for an ignition signal, one edge is going to be constant and the other will vary with rpm. Honda ecu's trigger off the rising edge, which is what msd's are setup for. The M&W box is configurable to trigger from either edge. You leave that pin alone for a falling edge trigger or you ground that pin if you're using a rising edge trigger. If you use the wrong edge the timing will move with rpm, outside of what the ecu is telling it.

if you run a pro 10 on a stock ecu(neptune) what can i do about a 2 step. i know the neptune has one but doesnt build the kinda boost i want to see off the line.
does mw offer something?

M&W doesn't have any form of ign. cut for a 2 step, so your ecu will have to do it. How much boost do you want to leave with? Most cars will make 4-5psi on a honda ecu cut, and you very rarely need more than that unless you have a very big turbo.
