click on projects or tech or whatever it is on the first page.
you will see like 10 setups exactly how you describe.

im running the t-25 eclipse turbo, afc hack, 11-12 psi it ran 13.1 @ 104 on slicks weighing in at 2050 pounds. im not a big fan of the eclipse turbos though...if i would do it over i would use a internally wastegated t3. good luck dude.

im not running a dsm turbo, but im running dsm injectors, got the blue top 450s but im now wishing i had the automatic 390s so my idle didn't burn as much fuel. allwell. the blue tops are great injectors, cheap and reliable, and the resistors are an easy install. run them with a vafc and u got cheap fuel managment for under 300 bucks

Re: who all is running a DSM setup with there stock D?? (TeStUdO)
I did in an autotragic coupe.
14b set @.62 bar with a roadrace engineering mbc, custom exhaust manifold, dsm smic, 1st gen bov, afc hack w/450's, tuned on a wideband.
Ran awesome until I was an idiot and didnt replace my timing belt tensioner after I changed the timing belt and ended up messing everything up
My former ghettofabulous engine bay
The car ran
60' ... 2.446 (remember this car is automatic)
330 ... 6.610
1/8 ... 9.995
mph ... 72.01
1000 .. 12.938
1/4 ... 15.401
mph ... 91.82
Not too shabby imo for a porky ex coupe with everything in it, 40 seires 16" tires, stock cat and 60mm APEXi RS(chambered muffler) exhaust. It was a fun *** car on the street. THe 1/4 time I felt was mostly reflective of the long gearing whihc the automatic has.

Why a T3? I'd like to hear the reason for this.

If you're too rich at idle, why don't you lean it out?

I'm running a t3@10psi and I'm going to "upgrade" to a t25, at the largest! Possibly a VNT, but who knows. My t3 can suck my *** at autocross...when you're coming out of a low-speed turn going 15-20mph in 2nd, you have a good 2-3 seconds before the car wants to go
People seem to read the compressor maps and believe they have to be in the maximum efficiency range even at the top of their rpm range, which is good for drag racing and dyno-queen applications, but pretty horrid for street and autoX. I'd sacrifice 10+hp up top for a 500rpm lower spool-up and better response, anyday. Driveability.

Well I see the ppl with t3s make the same amount of power as I am with much less boost. and im not much of a autocross guy so i can live with a slower spool time. at 7-8 psi i only got 140 hp/148 tq on the dyno...I see ppl with T3s make 180-200 hp. dunno...

The good thing about using a t3 turbo, it that you have a larger/easier choice of upgrading turbo in the futute. It's also much cheaper than mitsubishi turbo.
