Who all has a T3/T04E 46 or 50 trim?
Hey all,
I am stumped in my decision between these two turbos. From the compressor maps, I am leaning towards the 46 trim, as it seems at 10psi it will be closer to ideal, and if i go upto 15-18 down the road, i will still be sitting pretty good. The 50 trim is borderline at low PSI.
I was just wondering which one you guys are running, at what boost, on what motor (stock or built), and how much power you are making.

well i have a 46 trim that i was going to use on my d16y8. i got it from liam821 who ran it on a d16z6 he liked it... quick spool and the turbo should be able to support good power (300-350hp i guess). he ran his as high as 18psi

yea even at 18psi it never felt like it was running out of topend (at least on a sohc).
