Where's a good place to draw oil for the feed line for my turbo on my b18b1?
I've heard that the set screw on the side of the head is a good spot (right by where my VTEC sylonoid would go. It seems too small though. Also, what is a good size line to run? Is 1/4" ID good enough? Thanks to all.

1/4" is the largest you'd want to use. Not sure on using the head port, perhaps somebody with a B series can answer that.

And could you please tell me where the oil sending unit is located? Thanks,

wrong sir, it does not have a rubber cover and it only has one wire going to it.
its to the left of the oil filter.

So even if it is below the turbo, it has enough pressure to pump up to the turbo level? Is it OK to just tee into it then? If I hook it up, and I want to make sure it's working, can I turn the car on for a split second to make sure it shoots out of the tube? Also, for the first time a turbo is installed, is there enough lube in it to run on it's own for a second until oil reaches it, or do i have to prime the line or something like that. Thanks a lot fellas.

Do you happen to know what size the pipe is I'll need to tap? I guessing a barbed brass "T" will work. Sorry I'm a pain. Thanks,

To answer your question you want to use the location at the back of the block where the oil pressure sensor is.

"On the left side of the oil filter, you will see an oil sensor which has some sort of rubber boot on it."
straight off the Turbo 101 website.
i've removed this before and i know there is a rubber cover over it...

The oil pressure sensor thread size is 1/8" bspt. Not npt. Use a bspt to npt adapter from Z10 or Autometer. Not doing so may result in fugged up threads and/or oil leaks. Use teflon paste.
Don't tee off the back of the block.

On that turbo 101 site, he doesn't mention anything about putting the oil pressure sending unit back on...would this be ok with a OBD1 car? The ecu wouldn't throw a cel with it like that?

so what is a good way to go about having the oil feed and an aftermarket oil pressure gauge sensor along with the stock oil pressure sensor?

Best bet for thta is build a oil feed tee unit. It simple jsut need 4 port tee run 1/8/bspt fitting to 1/8npt then run -4 line to that tee then from there run all yuor accesories best thing to do.

Where else on the block can you get oil supply from, besides the oil sender by the oil filter? What if that spot is already used for an LS/VTEC conversion?
