Where'd all the cheap eBay turbos go?
 

Dumb question, but if you searched eBay a few weeks ago for "57 trim turbo" for instance, you got about a million hits from SS Autochrome, JDMSgroup, and the like. Now there's nuthin!

Where'd they all go, eBay crack down on all of the junk turbos/Chinese copy cat parts sellers or something? Just curious. . . .

they were getting sued by companys that they copied there stuff from.

tons still all over egay.....search for anything turbo related and you'll come across them.

Seems a bunch of smaller guys are selling them in turbo "kits".

surprising, we used them all up, and there are no more inferior parts to be passed off as good parts. either that or some got disgruntled, and went to ssac, and recycled all their metal.

revhard has been around for a while...

its an okay kit. a lot better than ebay shit.

I'm not in love with the idea of SSAC turbos or anything, but since I tend to be kind of rough with parts when I'm fabbing stuff up and getting it running, I was kind of thinking about getting an elCheapo turbo to use for the fab work if I could get one roughly the same. . . .

I haven't had time to check in here in a while, so I wasn't sure what was going on with them. I see one cheap new 57 trim with a five-bolt flange exhaust side on it today.
