I just put in some NGK 4091's last night (.30 gapped). My car seems to like me for it too. It's against the norm here, but that can be a good thing at times.

I'd just leave them at the stock gap unless the spark is getting blown out. I've always run 1 step colder on my past turbo set ups, but my next one will just use stock ones. Stock gap, stock heat.

6's: 300-350whp level
7's: 350whp-450whp level
8's: 450whp-600whp level
I pretty much use the 7's in everything i tune and run, which is overkill. You'll get better gas mileage and partial throttle response with a hotter plug since it combusts the mixture greater.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I thought for every 75-100 whp you make, you should go 1 step colder? So if someone is planning to have 200whp on a d16z6, shouldn't they go with 7's and not 6's? And for someone that is planning to have 300whp, shouldn't they go with 8's? correct me if i am wrong

NGK BKR7E-11 Spark Plugs should work okay too with good tuning. You can always change the gap a little to compensate.
NGK don't make a BKR8E-11 or anything like that. You'd have to go with one of their more expensive race plugs or something.

1283 are pregapped at .044
6097 are not gapped. i normally get these and gap them at .038 and they work great.
