I am going to be turboing my B16A and need to know where to tap the water lines? I think someone told me before that I would need to run one before the thermostat and one after, is this correct?

I T'd mine off of my heater lines, but I think I'm the only one that did that. I've seen lots of them put inline with (or in place of) the TB heater line.

off the heater lines is best. it gives plenty of flow.

this is how i did it on mine with the gt28rs. the coolant lines in the back of the turbo goes to the block drain plug. the lines in front, i had it tapped to the thermostat housing. sorry dont have pic of the thermostat housing. i will get it for you if you want it

t'd to my heater lines first, now i have no heater and just run the lines to my turbo now

Mines is the same as b18BoostedDC2's. Banjo fitting on the drain plug up front.

Run from the bottom of the radiator to turbo, out the turbo and into the thermostat housing. See sig for ideas. The bottom of the radiator is where the coolant is coolest. The thermostat housing dumps coolant into the tube in the back that directly feeds the water pump so the pull is strong there.

Just have a pan or something under it; it's the drain plug for your water jacket.
