replace them with stock axles, autozone has a lifetime warranty on their axles. And stock axles and hold up to around 500+hp that I've seen. A friend of mine had a 550whp drag crx and it would break a axle or two every couple of months, and It was always on the lauch. So stick with the stock ones, and there cheap.

Mugencrxsir1,
Ive also been looking for info about axles n stuff. According to many people on here the autozones will be fine! Im definately going to go with those. How can you beat lifetime warranty?

have it cost you money at a race and see how you feel. I've had to change out an axle during qualifying and then lost in the semi's due to breaking the same axle again. sometimes haven't alot of power can kill axles...so it comes down to how much security do you want. if you want to know they aer strong, look towards driveshaft shop, Pro-drive, gator axles.

It reallt depends how you are going to use this thing....if you are doing like 5500 clutch drops with tons of torque then maybe spend the extra bux on good axles. Otherwise I say Autozone. That and it takes like 45 min with the right tools to swap axles per side.

Its the high rev drops with slicks that get you. They probably could hold that 500whp but if you hook up with out the tires slipping somthing has to twist and break

2.5 years on the same set of OEM stock axles for me....however i dont suggest it at all.
ive installed autozone axles and had them break with in 20 feet of driving, and im not exadurating. obviously had to be a defect of some sort....but im 110% anti-autozone....i think you have to be a certain level of dumbass to work there.
if your going to go with stock axles, i'd grab some used OEM axles.
