Where is the best place to get bolts for the manifold to attach the turbo up??
I have some but I think they gave up to being all rusty. Where is a good place to get studs or bolts for the manifold to attach the turbo? Please let me know

just for the 4 bolts that hold the turbo to the mani? 20 cents a bolt and 5 cents a lock washer. BTW ive always had a problem with bolts backing out due to heat changes and vibration. im going to tack weld the bolts in place after i bolt the turbo on (one little piece of weld that i can break off if i ever need to take the turbo off)

cant you just use studs and loctite them in there. So you just slip the turbo on the manifold. Put your washer and then the nut?

loctite will not work. the manifold gets too hot and the loctite will just burn off. lock washers are the way to go

Search under Flamenco-T, he made a thread on bolt sizing, ect... for diffrent manifolds/turbos, If you have a common manifold the sizes should be there.
I used studs on mine, which are more expensive, but they are worth it because exhuast leaks suck

I was using grade 8 bolts from the hardware store (Orchird Supply), and two came out I'm thinking from vibration or they snapped. One I know for sure snapped. I only had one bolt holding my turbo up. I'm going with the stud kit from Fast-Turbo now. I ordered them this morning.

Re: (TurboChrgd_Civic)
I might go with a stud also but just wondering if were all having problems with bolts backing out from the vibration and heat how will the studs work better. Not trying to being a jackass i honestly don't understand the concept.
