When i press the throttle...it makes a tick sound
i have a 99-00 civic w/ a custom T25 setup. recently been hearing a tick noise when i press the throttle. it's not a constant ticking noise..it's just real quick and instant when i press the throttle. what can be the problem? it doesn't happen all the time too. please anyone HELP

really? someone said i just might need a valve adjustment. if it is detonation how can i fix it? i'm still kinda new to all this turbo stuff. it's my fault that i didn't read more about it before getting it. sorry if i'm kinda clueless about things.

no big deal. Does it sound like pebbles in a cofee can. If so then thats pretty much detonation. If its just ticking like tick tick in idle then probably need a good vavle adjust ment.
To fix detonation your probably need to increase your static fuel pressure a little and rich in it up.
