Whats the wastegate set at on this turbo..
I need to know what the factory wastegate is set at for the turbo pictured below.. It is an Airesearch T3 that says a/r .48 on the exhaust housing..

I cant find any oe specs for any turbo cars.. I can tell the model number but I cant find the boost settings on the net.. Does anyone have a phone number or website for Airesearch..

Update on this.. I opened up the internal wastegate last night and come to find out its adjustable.. I turned down the boost on it to about 6 psi.. When I tested it, it was at about 13 psi.. for Airesearch

And most OEM actuators come staked from the factory so you can't adjust them.
One that you can adjust is the sign of a replacement turbo at some point... standard fair for an OEM turbo car.

I dont really understand what your saying here.. The one that I have doesnt have a rod on the outside of the turbo.. The wastegate valve connects to a diaphram with a bolt holding the diaphram against a spring.. If your turn the diaphram up or down it changes the resistance agains the spring.. Clockwise increases boost and counter lowers it..

They are the same company.. I found out how to adjust the boost pressure in the wastegate..
