Whats the shelf life of race gas in the drums
I can get the c16 fairly decent price and should i stock up or should i buy it fresh all the time.

not sure about c16 but i could remember having gas in one of those red containers for the lawn mower and it'd just sit there for a long time til i had to use it and it was still good ?

it doesnt loose octane at the same rate that pump gas does, just make sure that you do not leave the cap off the drum too long and that the pump you use is always clean and does not contaminate the drum. make sure your fuel lines can handle this stuff as it eats stock rubber fuel line pretty good. I have a couple of drums ordered - Mark unleaded try it its a lot friendlier to O2 sensors.

i read from some place on the internet....that basically said....when properly stored....race gas could be stored upto one year....

DO NOT use old C16 or buy any VP from a 55 gal drum. If it is in 5 gal drums and fresh, it's probably OK. I have first hand experience of getting some old VP and melting a piston during a 1/4 mile run. Only use VP from a metal can, not plastic. Trust me, I KNOW FOR A FACT
