boost is not the key

its been said many times again and again

b/c 7 psi on a t25 and 7psi on a sc61 are totally different

its horsepower you are looking for

and you should be good for about 300whp
with a good tune

torque= fun. who cares about horsepower anyway. horsepower was invented by a guy that was trying to make his horse drawn carts haul more efficiently anyway.it's just a number that you can tell the non "car people" to help them understand your **** is fast. oh and by the way i have seen countles bseries setups make over 300whp as long as your turbine is up to it.

your car wont last long with a stock bottom end with vtec head. rod bolts will give when u try to rev high.

Hmmm. i reved my stock block ls/vtec to 8800rpm daily for 8 months. the killer was 22psi at the track. motor made 358hp 260tq to the wheels revving to 8800.

I never had bearing issues or rob bolt issues.

you should get at lease 300whp with a good tune. I have a complete stock ls and I put down over 300whp(check my sig). The cars been running great for about 4 months now. Did a compression test the other day and everything is still perfect. I'm doing a LS/VTEC no and I'm aiming for 400whp with pistions, rods, and a block guard.
