i'm running it with my z6head/y8 block setup with the zex 59300 cam and it has an incredibly nice powerband. Lots of my friend's with B series and much bigger turbos won't pass me until partway the top of 4th gear.

no, i dont, but it spooled pretty darn quick and early to 9lbs.. like as soon as we went wot and started the dyno pull, we were making positive pressure at like 2600 rpm

there's NO WAY a VF39 is gonna do 400whp..i don't think even a VF22 will do that

That's odd, rhd. I know of a local guy here making 370whp/385wtq on the stock turbo with other misc. bolt ons.
As a WRX owner, I'm sure you're registered on NASIOC. Go there, search around. A lot of people are making good, strong power on the VF39. High 11s, low 12s using the stock STi turbo. Search around.

The STi turbo's must be super-small then.
I have a 16G and I can get about 8psi out of it.

Well, of course they are. The turbo was designed for the characteristics, compression and operation of that motor. But that doesn't mean that its going to behave in the same way as on a honda in its normal location. Compare the location of the turbo in the exhaust stream of the engine bay. It's like comparing apples to apricots.

True. My point being it will still be a strong little turbo and prove capable for some fun power on some of the homemade turbo cars out there.

right, well...good for him, but it's a small turbo. if he's doing 370whp...that turbo is pushing MAJOR psi and is prob about to blow hot air.
you have to remember...WRX owners are also the dumbasses that say that FMIC's make you lag more and aren't worth it....

it'd be crazy if there was another civic runnin around locally with my exact turbo setup.
i can just straight open that bin file in uber right? i do'nt have to load the gsr than import over or anything like that?
thanks,
-Luke
