What first...second....third???

Boosting ~7psi on stock b18b with ~40,000 - ~50,000 miles on it.

CV joints once you realize that slicks are a must.

I guess while people are answering their questions...can you also state what you would replace first, second, etc....and at what psi that upgrade would be needed.

Remember to rotate your compressor wheel every 5000 miles.

pistons the ring landing
you hit the nail on the head. Ring landings will fail-- you'll start to burn oil = blue smoke. The problem will just get worse and you'll lose compression, eventually it won't get compression and won't run.

I guess the ring landing is better than the helicoptor landing?

Yes, and very proud of it. I love it when people try to hate on UF. Oh and excuse my imbecility, incapacity, vacancy of mind, poverty of intellect, clouded perception, poor headed, stupidity, stolidity, hebetude, and dull understanding of humor. Ive had a very long and hard day of studying for physics so i dug deep for my farfetched post. I'll answer the question now to which the topic pertains.

I havent had any problems with my stock internals, they are holding up just fine.

OT: ahh ok, no problem then......rivals arent bad. My girlfriend/exgirlfriend (dont know what she is) went to FSU, made straight A's in the honors program for 2 years and finally got smart. she will be starting at UF in the fall. I just dont like people who hate on the actual school, but if its sports related, its all good. Law School is gonna be a bitch, one of the SigEp alumni is on "The Board" and always suggests that i should"apply" and study corporate law. Too boring for me....hehe I'll stick to engineering. Good luck though Miami is a great school....and come on, you have to admit, you know you liked my previous post. ok enough OT

First motor I boosted on was a b18C1 with stock internals. It would run at 18 psi all day. Only thing I did was go up 3 heat ranges on the plugs. With slicks it ran low 10s. One night at the track, the car launched so hard it broke both the driver and passenger side half shaft shortening bolts. So while the driveline was being repaired, I had the motor rebuilt specifically for http://www.spiralmax.com/. Check the FAQ, you can use 2 and get twice the boost, so now I'm pushing 36psi and running high 7s.
