I am turboed and have been for a while now.. I have made 276whp and 251wtq on 12psi @3bar map.. My motor is all built and the head has springs and retainers and a zex59300.. You think i should keep the comp cam or get a bisi or delta or some thing else... I want to up the boost and make 400-450whp.. on e85 both tunes..

The Bisi 3.6 cam has been doing pretty good from what i've seen. I think speedfactory did a test with it and it beat out all the other cams tested.

Most will tell you that headflow is really the stumbling block for z6's, I'd spend the money on porting after finding out that you can't make your goal with the current setup.

E85 and 59300 should be able to make 400hp. Maybe not 450 but again I think the stumbling block is more likely to be the head and not the cam.

Give a more detailed breakdown of your setup.

what rods/pistons
Injector CC's
management
Down pipe size
charge piping size
What turbo?
What manifold?

I also have a ram horn manifold that i am thinking of using..and redoing the down pipe again... Ha.. I did some port work mostly on the exhaust i didnt want to mess with the intake port.. but did a little bit on the bowl's.. Check it out..

the intake ports are where most of the flow can be found. seats are also very important as well.

the exhaust can benefit from a raised roof but the exit should be left as close to stock as possible to help fight reversion.


the 59300 can easily make over 400whp. stick with what you got.

if money wasn't an issue; the bisimoto 2.4 cam is the best imo. the zex 59300 is the better bang for your buck. do you have a dyno graph?

wow a lot has happened since this post...

i now firmly believe Coltcams.com is the best in the business. check out the dyno plot for my D16Z6 on 20psi/chevron pump gas.

i think it would be hard to beat this.

bisi cam are the best but a little pricy depending on ur price range may go with zex 59300
