Default What are you turbo crx guys doing about you ic pipeing

We are doing a turbo build on my brothers crx, and we just want to know what you guys are doing for your ic piping from turbo to intercooler. I know the full race backdoor setup would work but already got the intercooler piping and johnny race car 8" intercooler. If you have pic it would be helpfully

i went up and over into the hole where the A/C used to be, by the washer bottle (u might have to remove the bottle) and then down and over. you will have a good amount of room with this setup.

heres a pic, this is on my DA, but i did my EF the same way.

I like this format ALOT more...
edit: Pictures are dead as We-Todd servers... sry... below is a dirty pic of my setup... just link to them... prefer to not just host them as IMG....
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1339065
we did it similarly on my car using an xspower fmic, was a bit shorter than the one in the link... so we just cut a 180 Al bend in half and put it in place of the inlets... tucks around the stock radiator perfectly.

Please note... it was late and we finished it up and just left it all raw... uncleaned... etc... and front bumper is cutout for old fmic setup.

I did mine like this:

From the turbo to the intercooler was just a coupler--it was back-door style. From the intercooler to the throttle body was intercooler pipes joined by a 90 degre coupler.

That for me?

The only "hack" to the car is cutting out the sheetmetal right where the horns mount. We moved the horns around the corner. This allowed us to tuck between the framerail and the radiator and drastically shorten the IC piping. All bends are mandrel in my setup also... so one can assume it flows quite well.

No problem, I just know that for people that can pull the method I copied from Tony1... its nice for the piping length. And I think Tony1s was a hair long for it doing it like mine... his has the 180 half pieces integrated into the endtank... but we-todd pics are down unfortuantly. His kit is sooo purty.

Just refer to the link I posted in my first response. Its to the thread he posted it in. Once we-todd-racing servers are back up, the pictures will hopefully return.

I heard some talk at some point of someone cutting a 2.5" diameter hole in the sub frame down on the drivers side to pass the charge pipe through. I don't like hearing cut and frame in the same sentence but wanted to see what you guys had done.

Here is mine. My thinking is, if you are not cutting you are not going fast.
