What would you pay for a used T3/TO4?
Kind of a dumb question, but i'm thinking of picking up a used T3/TO4 possibly, it's a 60-1 (whatever that means...), i'll say the price later he wants later so it doesn't alter your 2 cents, just curious what you'd pay for it so i know what to offer.

if its a 60-1 i would not recommend puttin it on your d series, i had a built ls and still didnt get full spool till late 4,000 rpm
and im trying to sell my 7k mile 60-1 with no shaft place for around 500+

I would say in the $350 range. Personally, I wouldn't trust a used turbo - you'll be sorry when it starts smoking and leaking oil after a week and you have to pay a butt-load for a rebuild. Not that every used turbo is bad, but it's such a dissapointment when stuff like that happens.
I bought a rebuilt turbo from this place and couldn't be happier:

They have rebuilt turbos starting at $445 and they do a good job on the rebuilds - basically like new. Customer service is awesome as well. The only problem is that they're in Canada and shipping takes an extra 4-5 days, prices are in USD.

Re: (bubs)
Yeah, I don't think I'll get a used turbo ever again. I traded my old USDM integra front end after my JDM swap for a used turbo. It should have drawn a red flag when I noticed the pipe fitting forced into the oil return which was not threaded for it. And for the price of a rebuild you can almost buy a new one.
With that much corrosion and abuse, I bet the seals are shot.

I'd go with either Blaast or Westcoast-turbo.com
I have a t3/t04b from WC-T right now and its beautiful, plus they're sitting at $399 right now Snag one before the year is done.

Re: (onemanlan)
The white housings missing bolts bother me, he claims there's no in and out shaft play however. He's wanting $350 shipped for it, so i guess it's a pretty good deal.
