some ARP headbolts and a good tune. Possibly a new intake manifold if you're feeling frisky.

buying parts seperatly gives you a kit you want and probably be cheaper and more complete....

it aint that hard to hit 300whp,,its actually pretty simple..use a t3/t4e turbo,+500cc injectors,upgrade fuel pump,clutch,and fuel managment/tuning

buy seperate that kit is like 2700 bucks you can hit 300whp on a stock ls b18 with like 1500-2k. and if you got 2700 to buy **** with you can buy way beter stuff than the rev hard kit offers.

you can reach 400whp with that money. find a sleeved block run a good turbo and yes crower is a good company and run a ram horn intake manifold. and hondata s300. have your head p/p and forged pistons and rods. and get a good valve train and cams. get a good tune and you have 400whp. and of coarse all the fuel mods. but which ones you buy on the parts is up to you to find what brand you want.

if you shoot for used stuff, or mostly used you can peice one together pretty cheap. Unless your like me, i cant stand used stuff...in return i paied probably close to $4k for my setup, more like $3800 including tuning etc etc.

Make sure with your budget you factor in the little things. I know i forgot to factor in things and was scraping up every dime i could find.

Little things will come back to get you, always budget for extra set of plugs, tuning, gas to get to tuner and back (if you had a far drive like me 300miles round trip), extra couplers and clamps, oil lines and all the fittings, and if you need a restrictor etc. etc.
