A t25 spools real fast and has alright low end
my 15g is good, fast spool
those small turbo don't make crazy power on a d series but it will make more power then a stock b16, and have alot more torque
just make sure u get a good turbo, alot of the junkyard turbos need rebuilds

Greddy kit is one of the best matched all around turbos you can put on a d-series.

got a t25 on my y8. awesome. most fun car i have ever driven. more fun than my larger turboed cars
it make my punny d16 feel like a big 6 cylinder or something. really, really fun to drive. full boost at 2 grand is a neat feeling

This is my ******* opinion on the way you phrased that but, you drive a 1.6 liter 4 cylinder. If you want low end power get a big V8. For the love of traction, why not focus on augmenting the natural abilities of this engine instead. You will probably like the any of those turbos even though they don't make much power until after 3000rpm.

Re: (Burke)
an ihi rhb5 series turbo will give you what to need. a vj-14 is small, thats what im using. 14 lbs of boost at roughly 2600 rpms is fun but it falls on its face at 5800. A vj-11 is what the PGT's use slighlty larger than the vj-14, if you hybrid it with the 14 people "Say" it spools 500 rpms faster and can do 20 psi and 19 till redline (mind you this is on a 1.6 litre dohc mazda engine.)

that is a great turbo for a wide power band and maybe 300whp. I woulden't mind one of those at 15 psi or so on a built D you should measure both wheels to see what you have exactly.

It is going on a built d or a mildly built ls... but i need a manifold... looks like you sell em... i also need a t25 turbo though. The t3 i was mentioning above is goin in for a custom rebuild, theres tonns of shaft play and some F.O.D so id like to get a stage 2 compressor wheel, a new turbine housing, (mines cracked by the waste gate flange,) and ceramic ball bearing upgrade...Should i keep the a/r the same? is it a super 60?

I have a t3 60 trim .60/.48 on my stock d16z6 and I would hate having a smaller turbo.
