Default What turbo to use on stock gsr?

With my setup i will be running probably .5 bar at first w/ fmu until i get enough money for aem ems/hondata/etc. With this set up i am looking to make inbetween 225-250whp. When i eventually do get engine management i want to make around 300whp on stock internals w/ higher boost levels. What turbo should I get that will meet my goals, spool fairly quick, and still pull until redline. I was looking into precision turbos but im not sure which one would fit my needs. Can I have some suggestions on what precision turbo and other brand (cheaper) turbos would work good for me. Thanks

why would the sc50 be better for me than say a sc34 or sc32?

I would suggest the sc50. Its been debated before, but its been said that for pump gas the sc50 is better and the other two make slightly more power on race gas. The sc50 should also spool a tiny bit faster.

If you are only shooting for 300whp then any one of the three turbos should get you there.

9lbs should net you around 260whp range, any .57 trim turbo should do the job fairly well. 300whp should be no problem at all once you have management and get tuned.

sc50 or sc34, maybe just a straight 50-60 trim t3/t04e w/o the precision name on it

I would use the GT32E , SC50 or TE44 for your needs. All of them are great turbos with the GT32E getting the nod for spool up.

I ran a T3/T04E 60-trim on my bone stock GS-R, did everything I wanted it to do and then some.

244whp @ 6psi, 293whp @ 10psi (with room to impove), and all this with a 2.5" DP and tiny 2.3" catback. Spooled decently quick and layed the smacketh downeth when needed

I second that idea. Either the 60 trim or the 57 trim will work nicely. And you will save some cash, the T3/T04E is only $550.

BTW, that's exactly my turbo, it's a .63 A/R right? When did it spool on the B-series? I want an idea of how it would perform on my H.
