Default What turbo is this? T3? T25?

I recieved this turbo from ebay a yesterday and I want to know what turbo it is so I can order the flages and stuff for it. The guys said " I believe this turbocharger is a T3" So I'm not sure what turbo I bought. But the price was right.

PS I have more pics in my gallery on page 4

The inlet looks way too big to be a T25. I'd say T3. but I'll let other ppl jump in here.

It if matters it has the a/r rating in the inlet saying 48. I don't know if t25 have this or not.

Looks like a T3 to me.... the inlet looks the same on the T25 and T3s but the T3 is a little bigger... this one looks big enough to be a T3...

Well the question now is what flange do I get for the downpipe the hole is 2 inch wide but I find all 3 inch 3 bolt flanges. The smallest I can find is 2.25 inch from kteller.com

if all else fails you could use the internal wastegate housing off of another turbo that doesnt have that goofy angle crap goin on...thats what came on mine but i am using a tial so i took it off...if you want it ill sell it.. if i was at school i would measure the big opening but im not so...oh well
this is what i have...imo it should fit and atpturbo sells the flanges

It's a T3 from a Saab. 45 trim most likely since very few had the 50 trim. This flange from ATP turbo bolts up fine even with the tapered part on the WG. The only trick is to make sure the flange is square to the housing when you tack up your DP.

I have used this flange on lots of these internal gates (volvo and saab ones usually) and never had a problem with it sealing.

If you port out the WG hole in the turbine housing a couple mm and the outlet on the WG housing it will give better top end and boost control. Try to grind a nice radius where the inside of the WG housing meets the outlet.
