for 250-300whp go with a t3/t04b , my buddy made 264whp on 7psi on it (xrdriver on h-t here) , on stock gsr. Great spool time. Use uberdata as your friend is using also.

OMG! A noob that's actually RESEARCHING! Good for you man. I really mean that.

I don't know how much you already know, but you may want to check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com to get a basic idea of what you're going to need for your setup.

if those are your goals and dont intend on growing, if you are goin the kit route, the drag and the greddy kits are tried and true. the drag kit has a little more growth potential, but you cant run a 3" dp. those are the two that come to mind.

The Drag and Revhard kit will put you around 250whp no problem. I like the Greddy kit, but it's quite expensive for what it is.
Stay with the T3/T04B or T04E, 57 trim. That should get you to your goals.

no, get an FMIC.....you need one for 300hp....you're going to run like 12psi to get that much power.

I'm doing almost the same build as you on my 99 GSR w/ a T3T4E 60 Trim .63 AR turbo... i bought a 31x6x3 IC...
