Re: (J-Davis)
It looks to be a GT3071R with an standard E cover, because that turbine looks pretty big for a GT28RS, even the GT2871 has the same size turbine, so I think that's what it is, basically a GT2871 compressor with a 90 trim turbine GT30 wheel.

Re: (Black00em1)
the internally gated GT turbos with the T25 flange flow pretty good, and can enable you to pass emissions if needed since you don't have to worry about your external gate being routed back into the DP. You can make some decent numbers with that turbo

Here is a list I made a while back, got like one or two replys, I think it's good info to have:
You might want to right click and save that because my server that hosts my website is getting shut down. Hope that helps, that list is also kinda old.

Its not a 30R in the standard sense. When most people say "30R" they really mean GT3076R-12 (but few know the diffrence). However 3071's can be internally gated which is what I guess they meant.
It should say the Garret CHRA part number right on the CHRA

It's funny, because when I ask people what turbo they have, they say t3/t4 or GT30.
It's like saying, "what type of car do you have?"
"A Red one"

LOL, I hate to laugh, but you're going to have to take off the housings.
You see the bottom part, that is the exducer. The top part, is the inducer.

I'm almost 100% sure that it's the GT3071, because this was a picture I was able to find of the GT28 turbine wheel:
Like I said before, yours is MUCH bigger.

lol exactly, everyone says t3/t4 which describes about 75% of the aftermarket turbos out there.

The largest T2 frame GT30 I have had in my hands uses the 70177-0012 CHRA which is rated for about 55 lbs/min. This looks like what you have as well, however a measurement will let us know for sure.
We have used this on a few custom Hayabusa turbo kits, very cool turbo.

I can't say for sure which turbo it it but its not a true GT turbo becuase it has an internal wastegate and is not the 4 bolt GT housing. It could very well be using the GT30R center cartridge. They do make the 3071 with a T04E compressor housing and an internal wategate but that doesn't use the true GT30R 76mm wheel.
