Default What Turbo is this? **Help**

Sup FI heads. My lil bro got this from the junkyard off of a Ford (not sure what model). Can anybody tell me what turbo this is, and will it be good to use on a D-series (z16)? I'm thinking this is too big for a d-series motor, just from looking at it though.

If anybody have any experience with this turbo, please post up your pro's/cons as well.

Here's the pix0rz:

Standard T3 Air Research Turbo,it will be good on a D but won't be any good on a B18c way too small.Pretty sure it's the .42/.48 like mentioned above,it will die out bigtime on a B-series.

Really, because if i remember correctly now, my bro said it was off of a Ford... Thunderbird. I'm not sure but, those cars came in much bigger displacements then any honda, not to mention 2-4 more cylinders. Why wouldn't this turbo be able to handle a 1.8L 4 cylinder?

Thanks man. That about sums it up then... it's a T3 from a Ford XRTi (never heard of that car )

one more noob question bro... what's the deal with the .60 trim and .45 trim? Bigger turbo on a .60 correct?

we put a .42 trim t3 off a volvo on a gsr. with my manifold setup. and it runs a 13.6 on street tires. its not horrible. it made bout 230 WHP not as much as most cars on there but itll definatley holds its own against other cars.

itll die off up top but EHH . itll still be quick.
