got my set up almost complete

84mm ls/vtec, ram horn style manifold, gt35r a/r .63 70 trim. looking to make 450-475 on pump and 560-590 on race gas. its mostly gunna be a street car but i will occasionaly go to the track.

will a b16 do the job or would i need a gsr? whats the pro/cons of each

it's all up to you on how fast you want to go threw the gears and how long you want to be in boost.

i use a b16 tranny on my. great for street and what not . but once it comes to highway driving.. yea it sucks ***. 4000rpm at 70mph.

i have a b16 with lsd but im tradeing it for a gsr tranny.

i dont really care about highway driving/cruising, b/c this will not be a daily driver.

just want to know whats better to have for highway runs and some track runs as well

b16 good for drag racing, not good on the gas tank

gsr good for all around, best of both world kinda of..

ls good for the gas tank, sucks for freeway pulls
