what is the torque spec for Golden Eagle Rods? B18c5 that is.
I need the torque spec for my build. I think is about 40 lb ft. but let me know guys. it did say anything on the box. thanks....

Golden Eagle doesn't make rods, they do engine sleeving, machine work, engine building, make fuel rails, intake manifolds, oil sandwich adapters, headstuds etc etc but no rods.

yeah, u must be talking about EAGLE rods. depends on what size rod bolts u have on the rods.

the difference is LS are 8mm and GSR and Type R are 9mm. yeah its the rod bolts torque spec that I need. and what are you guys saying? golden eagle doesn't not make connecting rod? then why is there a eagle stamped right on the connecting rod it self?

the tech site is under construction can someone help me out, it also say ARP on the rod bolt so I'm assuming that the torque spec is just the same as the arp, but i'm not sure.......

Actually no, this is VERY WEIRD, 28ft-lbs is for the 5/16" bolts I know that. The 3/8" are 40ft-lbs I think , Eagle states a certain torque spec BUT if you go to ARP's website they will tell you what torque spec for that specific rod bolt but it is different than what Eagle specified. Someone a couple of months back was asking the same question and ARP told them to go by the rod manufacturer's torque spec recommendation actually.
I have looked around and can't seem to find the torque specs for them to be absolutely sure, sorry
