what temp should my egt run at??
like the topic says, I was wondering what the average exhaust temp for my d16a6 motor should be at when I have it fully warm and running?? I have a 14b and 450 cc injectors, if u need anymore info please let me know.. I just need something to go off of.. also, what is the max heat range I should be worried about.. THanks,

at idle, around 400C, but that is just a ball park, several other things could affect that like a/f ratio for example, if you are lean at idle for some reason, your egt will be hotter. as far as a high range, I don't know what all you've done, but I hit 800C left and right, and my egt isn't even tapped in the mani, its 1"off the turbine on the downpipe (i know, not right)....hmmm my answer wasn't too helpful was it...
