What T/B did you use with your venom intake manifold ? I have a d16z6 venom manifold and I have a gen 1 b16 T/B and it's not a direct bolt on. What T/B did you use and was it a direct bolt on or with little modification ? Let me know.

Edelbrock 75mm. Needed to be match ported and used the edelbrock adapter plate. I used the center stud for the fuel rail to mount my throttle cable bracket.

Re: (TGARCIARACING)
I just bought a sohc venom manifold as well. I just bolted up the fuel rail and went to bolt on my JG 64 mm t/b and this ******* thing wouldnt clear
The thing on the left wouldnt clear. IACV was already tapped for me
I jsut dont see how you get the t/b mounted or how you run a throttle cable with the ******* runners right there
Bump for SOHC!@

Ditch the 1st gen b16, they are the worst. Smallest out of all the B's with only 58mm.
I ran a stock one when I had the old school venom square manifold I just used the stock 60mm tb. Didnt need to modify anything.

Re: (93LSivic)
This threads way old man, I bumped it to solve my problem
Im using the square venom manifold
To me it seems the top left t/b post is off center witht eh rest. Does that mean anything?
3 of the 4 holes would mount up fine on my JG 64mm but the top left is right outside the entire t/b by a small bit, I could just drill/tap a new hole and cover the other but dont wanna **** anything up.
I also posted a pic, the thing on the left Im assuming is needed for vaccuum, it was on my oem A6 t/b and theres holes for it on my JG, I put it on the JG and tried to mount it on the venom and the thing was clear. Keep in mind I have the square manifold
I also dont get how you run a throttle cable on these with the runners basically right there....

Re: (1 Cam Wonder)
could you guys help me out? Im about to buy a Venom Intake manifold as well but Im scared that it might not be good for my car. I have a d16y8 (stock) but Im going to be boosting it by January. Anyway, did any of you guys feel/sense any difference after you installed the venom IM? Could you guys tell me the pro's and con's on this intake manifold? Someone told me that it'll stall your car when you slow down or stop bcuz it doesnt have a place for the IACV. Thanks in advance.

Re: (akad3mikz)
Its very easy to make the mani accept and IACV
I drilled 2 holes where they were on the unit, then drilled and tapped the 2 holes for the 2 12mm bolts. Took me 20 min, havent installed yet because of my problem but I will shortly
I might be looking to sell mine, brand new, tapped and drilled on back for IACV, added the 4 vaccuum fittings on the back. Ive also installed my oem honda fuel rail and dsm 450cc injectors.
If youre interested and have something Im looking for or some cash Id def be interested in trading
