what straight t4 for a b16? t4/t67 too much?
i want to make as much power as i can with my b16 for the mean time, but would a t4/t67 be overkill? my setup is as follows:
block:
9.1:1 - 9.3:1 CR
eagle rods
stock sleeves
stock crank
head:
springs + retainers
type r cams
jg/edelbrock intake manifold
the reason why i need to get a t4 is because that's what my manifold supports. i'm not too familiar with straight t4 turbo's, so i was hoping you guys could help me out! any help and info is appreciated!
thanks in advance

how so? this isn't going to be much of a daily driver, most likely only used on the weekends. I'm willing to sacrifice low end power for monster top end

i don't mean to bash you or anything, but was that at all an educated comment? i'm not going to get a certain turbo just for how it "sounds," i'm lookin to get the best turbo i can for my application along with the most performance gains

like i said, i'm not very familiar with straight t4's. the reason i picked a t4/t67 is because i did have a conversation with geoff from full race and he said it was the fastest spooling t4 in the market, so i had it in mind unless i would be convinced otherwise to go choose a different turbo. As far as my goals, i want to make as much power as possible, of course with reliability in mind, i don't expect this motor to last forever, but i do want to push the limits. i've seen as much as 420hp on a b16 with stock sleeves. would i like to go that high? of course. but is going to happen with my setup? well, we'll see....

iono, i think it might be a little overkill, but den again, some people told me my sc61 on my b16a was overkill. and i love it. slow spool, but hits like a mule when it reaches full boost
