I'm looking to do the afc hack for my turbo project. And I only plan on boosting between 6-8 psi...no more.

1) My question is, what is the smallest injector that I would be able to use?
2) And at what point would I need a resistor box or do I need one at all?
3) And do I really need a Walbro 255L pump? I read the webpage on the hack and they mention it, but I also read many threads and they say you don't need it...any insight?

Why don't I just ask what I need for that boost level?

1 ideal is 440 or 450cc, but i think i've heard of people doing it w/ 310cc

2 only need a resistor box if 450cc dsm injectors are used.

3 no, fuel pump is not needed, ran mine w/o it for about a month, worked fine..but for $100 it would be a nice upgrade

If they are saturated injectors you don't need a resistor box. If you are taking about RC engineering 440cc, then they are saturated.

You will have to raise the fuel pressure, if you plan on using 310cc injectors. Unless you plan on keeping the boost at 5psi. If you haven't bought the injectors yet, go with 440cc.

So what is better? Saturated 440cc or 440cc w/ resistor box? What's the cost difference between the two?

Okay, you only need the reisistor box if the injectors are peak and hold. It is not which is better, it is a matter of what your ECU uses. Your car is set up for saturated injectors so they will work without a resistor box. All the resistor box does in allow your ECU to use peak and hold injectors.
As for price- RC440's are around $300 I think and they are saturated. You can get a set of peak and hold 450cc injectors for pretty cheap. They are used on DSM's, so just search their board for a set. You can get them for as low as $50 and a resistor box for about $20. It wouldn't hurt to have the injectors balanced and blueprinted which is another $40. Still a lot cheaper than the saturated ones.

i don't think they make 440cc dsm, someone correct me if i'm wrong..i thought all the dsm were 450cc?
