Icon2 What size i/c piping???

I have a t/67 waiting to get put in my car. I'm also putting in a 29x11x3 i/c with 2.5 in in/out. I currently have 2.5 in hot and cold pipes. Will that size pipe be large enough to push 500hp. Or should I upgrade to 3 inch hot/cold or I have seen some setups with smaller hot side and larger cold size pipes. What or how does that benefit your hp? Thanks in advance for any helpful info.

2.5" hot side with 3.0" cold side. There are too many variables involved to give you an answer technical in nature, so the best thing to do is go with something that has been tested, tried and true for 500+ WHP.

Could 2.5 inch hot/cold be large enough to get the 500 I'm looking for? Or do I need 3 inch pipe?

you can hit 500 with 2.5 on both sides. but may have better results with 3" cold

Ive seen 2.5 make well over 550. Im sure with 3in he would have been better off but it can be done on 2.5.
