what size bore 81mm or 84.5mm?

what size bore 81mm or 84.5mm?
should i increase my bore from 81mm-84.5mm?........cause i'm having my block sleeved at golden eagle........is there any problems doing a bigger bore cooling, reliability, ect....? TIA

84.5MM is really good for power and torque(There is no replacement for displacement) . However if something happens to the block(Sleeves) like a scar from a melted piston etc., you will have less to work with. For instance if you have 81MM sleeves and your blow a piston and it scars up one of your cylinders, you can take the block to a machine shop to get it bored out, let say 20 over, then your okay. But if you have 84.5MM and somethign goes wrong what you going to do ? Bore it out to 86MM? You get the point?

I don't know if this is an issue or not, but it seems like at 84.5 mm theres not much area for the head gasket to seat on. This might not be a big deal but i think at high boost you need all the gasket clamping force you can get.

if you're building a street car, 84mm is fine. If a race car, I'd prefer to stick with 83mm, for more strength and flexibility on rebuilds.
