What to shoot for at dyno on biult LS

What to shoot for at dyno on built LS
Got my LS motor built with eagle rods, wiseco pistons and ring, acl bearings, port&polished head, resurfaced, ARP headstuds, all new seals, headgasket etc... So I am heading to the dyno on the 4th to get it tuned for the new build. What should I shoot for hp wise with a little longevity in mind (now I know longevity isnt like a stock motor without boost but you get the idea, longer than normal maybe?) Note, this are stock sleeves still and is running a t3/t4. Heard people run up to 400hp on stock sleeves but for a car I drive around daily in and for fun with a few hard pulls a day what are some recomendations? This car will not see the track most likely. Thanks in advance. and I searched, just hard to search for "ls" specifically

i think with the search you should try b18b or b18a. it gets on my nerves too that ls doenst show up.
well stock sleeves and you are looking to get a decent amount of miles out of it, id say about 300 whp.....personally i wouldnt push much past 325. although it can be done, im a ***** haha.

ive seens tock motors go 300-315 n be safe (i pushed 304whp on 14psi n i ran 17psi on the streets for months) with pistons n rods ive seen gsr's n ls/vtecs do 450-500....ls heads suck but u did port it but ur on stock cams....id say boost the bitch till u reach 400 or so.... stock sleeves have held on many cars up to 550whp.....its all int he tuning.

if the head is ported right and who ever did it did a good job it will but ur right he would notice a huge gain with cams.

I would assume your having Shane from Elite tune it.. He always tunes conservative so I'm sure you wont have much to worry about. Sherman Yang has his tuning done there on his built LS and he's in the low 300s on whp and wtq.

I beg to differ... both of my setups (SC61 and PT67) made power all the way to 7600 RPM... Besides some garbage cam regrinds, the head is stock...
All depends on the size of your turbo I guess

shooting for HP#'s is how stuff breaks. Shoot for a good tune with safe timing and see what your turbo lets you do, and then if you find yourself at 300ish call it a day. this way we won't have to read a thread about how you broke something and feal sorry for you. Not to mention it will last much longer

Shane will be tuning it. He did before the build and it ran great. Just looking for others with simlar setups and to see what they have to say about it. Thanks for the responses though.
