What rpm to launch. Need other peoples suggestions.
Hey people I am headed to the track tonight and just wanted others suggestions at what rpm I should launch at.
Last time at the track I posted a 13.7@102 launching around 3k rpm on drag radials. My question is do you guys think I should launch at a higher rpm than that or is that relatively good enough. thanks,
Nick

I know that much , just wanted to hear what others have launched at with turbos on there car using drag radials . I want to launch at about 4k but dont want to spin to much, due to the fact I may only get about 2 or 3 runs at max I don't want to experiment all that much. I have to drive almost 2 hours to get there and don't want to go home with a crappy timeslip

lower pressure to approx 15psi launch at aprrox 4500 and then drop it should net you around 2.0 60 ft work your pressure down througout the nite.

Yeah, lower the pressure in the drag radials and launch significantly higher. 3000 rpms sounds way too low.
Good luck.
Good luck.
