what power goals to expect from a Garrett .60 // .63 on a 2.3-Liter ??
Just wandering .. I know that many factors would influence power to the wheels ( including the type of manifold used, diameter of piping, ect .. ) .. but generally What would be the power output of a Garrett t3/t4 .60 A/r on Compressor and .63 A/r on Turbine ? .. Would be used on a 2.3-Liter h23/h22 hybrid that will have VTEC. Base would be around 160whp + 140wtq at N/A, Compression ratio is 9.3:1 //..
(Planning to run this turbo at 6, 8, and 10 psi, stock internals)
..Any insight would be appreciated.

No one can tell you what to expect from a certain setup, as all setups are different. The standard Garrett T3/T04E turbos come in a 45, 50, 54, 57, and 60 trim configuration. Which one do you have? The only way to really tell is to take it to the dyno, and find out for yourself.
In addtition, this is considered bench dynoing, which is against FI rules (read line #7).

Dyno it, and let us know how that sucker does. Good luck.

I am a few months away from dynoing it. Anyways, my goal is 340whp. Hopefully I can achieve this by 8psi, but could go to 10psi if I have to. ..this post is a question, not an illegal question, curiousity strikes, I ask. In a few months I will know for sure, in the mean time .. I wanted to start this thread to see what others think. If im breaking "rule #7", then shut this thread down. ..no harm intended.

yea man , you should have ZERO issues making 340 whp . not saying you will make it at 8 psi . but you will def be able to make it safely on pump gas .
hey man check this thread you will find any info you will need its the
