What was posted about a turbo with a blue backing plate
I remember reading a while back about some turbo that has a blue backing. Does anyone know what was said about them?

i have a t3/t04e turbo that has a blue backing plate...i dont know what the difference is though.....

some turbonetics turbo's come with different colored plates to signify different center sections. I think blue is a ball bearing, and gold is a thick shaft....don't quote me on that though.
also you can just buy them and put them on any turbo, i know that too..

I have a turbonetics t3/t04e turbo with the blue backing plate...so does that mean that Ben gave me a ball bearing upgrade for free??...hope he did ...
