i've got an AEBS sleeved and oringed gsr block with PNP gsr head. im going to go with the garrett gt42r looking to boost about 35-40 psi on 84mm bore. which piston rod combo will be able to support that power. i see some people saying that eagle rods will not support it. thanks for any input from your experience not what you heard.

Manley or Pauter would be the only rods I would recommend. I am not saying that there aren't other brands capable but those would be my 2 choices. I would not use eagles although I have heard of some high hp motors with them. If you want the piece of mind spend the extra money and get whats proven to work. Crower is good but I have heard of a few instances where they failed so I personally would stand clear of them.

Carrillo Super A's are very nice. Manley, Pauter, and Crower are also other good options.

I assume you plan on taking the rpm up towards 9800 10000? Based on that alone I would recommend Pauter or Carrillo with upgraded rod bolts

yeah i have always liked carillo's, good quality
